Remembrance 2022
To honor the seven crewmembers at the General Cemetery, regularly a remembrance ceremony takes place. In 2022 the remembrance ceremony will take place on April 23th, anticipatory on the Mai 4th Remembrance and the Mai 5th celebrations.
Their story
It’s November 22th 1943. On a clear afternoon, at 16.33 upon an improvised airstrip at Middleton St. George in Northern England, 764 bombers are taking off for a bombing mission to Berlin in Germany.
